Concentrated Tray Cleaner Alprosol
A highly efficient concentrated liquid for the cleaning of impression trays and other instruments. It is so effecient, you can save time, money and throw your worries away. AlproSol effectively dissolves zinc oxide eugenol, carboxylate phosphate and glass ionomer cement as well as adhesive varnishes and alginates that are left as residues on instruments. mixing spatulas and impression trays. AlproSol is suitable for all nonoxidizing metals and plastics. It can also be used in the cleaning of ultrasonic devices.
Liquid concentrate of active ingredients for the cleaning of impression trays and mixing spatulas. AlproSol dissolves zinc oxide, eugenol, carboxylate, phosphate and glass-ionomer cements as well as adhesive varnishes and alginates.
How to use:
Dilute AlproSol with warm water to a 3 – 5 % solution (30 – 50 mL per litre of solution).
Fully immerse the trays in the solution and leave it overnight.
AlproSol can also be used in ultrasonic devices. In this case the cleaning period is only 5 to 10 minutes.
Compatibility:
Suitable for all plastics as well as non-oxidizing metals.

Composition:
Sodium alkanesulfonate, complexing agents.
A special oxygenating formula designed to clean trays (including stainless steel), oral evacuators, and diamond instruments. Excellent for removing alginate, zinc oxide eugenol paste, wax, modeling compounds, dried blood and for flushing and cleaning evacuators. Contains a special flavoring agent and is effective as a deodorizer.
A study examining the dental impressions of 54 patients before the impressions were disinfected showed 100 per cent infection with streptococci, 56% with staphylococci, 26% with Candida and methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus and 6 per cent with Pseudomonas aeruginosa [Egusa, 2008].

Application
Remove cap of dosing section of the 1 Liter bottle. Measure 30 mL. of AlproSol by pressing the bottle slightly. Dilute this amount with 970 mL. of water to make 1 Liter 3% ready-to-use solution (for 5% ready-to use solution, dilute 50 mL. with 950 mL. of water). Use the diluted solution to clean impression trays and other dental instruments by immersion. For heavily soiled articles and materials, use a more concentrated solution. The cleaning effect is accelerated with the use of warm water. Wait for few hours and rinse impression trays and instruments under running water. Diluted solution is active for 2-3 days or when cleaning ability becomes less effective. Use also AlproSol as cleaning solution for ultrasonic device.

Caution
Do not mix with other cleaners or disinfectants.
Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact, rinse immediately with
plenty of water.
The use of protective gloves is recommended.
